When you visit this website

We do not use analytics, advertising technology or tools that track you across websites. By default, the website does not set cookies.

If you choose “Allow preference cookie” in the cookie notice, we set one first-party cookie named 7v_cookie_notice. Its only purpose is to remember that you have closed the notice. It expires after 12 months, is not used for analytics or advertising and is not shared with third parties. You can withdraw your permission at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

Hosting and technical logs

The website is hosted and delivered through Vercel Inc. Vercel may process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time, to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose faults.

This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website. Technical and security records are generally retained for no longer than 30 days, unless a longer period is necessary to investigate an incident or meet a legal obligation.

When you contact us

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide — such as your name, contact details, organisation and correspondence — so that we can answer your enquiry and manage the relevant business relationship.

The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement, where relevant, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining professional relationships. General enquiries are ordinarily retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact. Records connected to contracts, legal claims or accounting may be retained for longer where required.

Email is provided through Microsoft 365. When you email us, Microsoft may process the message and related technical information on our behalf.

Service providers and transfers

We use Vercel for hosting and content delivery and Microsoft 365 for email. These providers may process information outside the EEA. They may only process information under contractual safeguards. Where required, transfers are protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary security measures.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to processing, and receive certain information in a portable format.

Contact post@7vikings.no to exercise your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice if the website or our processing changes. Optional cookies, analytics or similar technology will not be activated before any consent required by law has been obtained.
